THE NORMAL RECORD. who ought not to be united in wedlock. But as the world needs educating along this line, it is not safe for her to begin at this early date to unfold any plans. Winnie will be the head of navigation. Her electric ships will cross the ocean at more than a mile a minute and will go from New York to Liverpool in two days. These ships will be built above the water supported by runners like those of the sleigh. Winona is to be the President of the Board of Horticulture. She will grow oranges in New York and Philadelphia. Vegetables will be grown by electricity. In winter the soil will be warmed by underground electric wires. At night vegetables bathed in floods of electric light will grow as fast as in the day light. Rays of colored light adapted to certain plants will hasten their growth. Straw berries as large as apples will be eaten at Christmas, also other fruits. E. Myers will be a noted teacher in pastry. She will have established great laboratories, equipped with electric stoves, coffee grinders, egg beaters, sugar shakers, etc. Jack Waste will be the President of the United States in 1919, by accepting the Silver Platform and becoming a full fledged Democrat. The women of the United States having been granted Woman's Sufferage will endorse him as their candidate and he will be elected by the largest majority any Democratic President has ever received. After being a President one year he will prove himself a second George Washington—First in peace and first in the hearts of his countrywomen, if not first in war, for under his beneficent administration war will be made impossible by the substitution of the women's humane and common sense policy of National Arbitration. The mistress of the White House, will be one of his old class mates. Her beauty will be much talked about all over the world. It is Bertha Fish, who fills this lucky and much bnged for place. Clara will never teach but will marry a wealthy old farmer, much older than herself. Her husband will not live long and then she will spend her time and money in travel. Ada will be a noted lawyer. She will re form the jury system and make it practically impossible for the guilty to be cleared and for the innocent punished. As an orator she will be a woman of mark, not a Susan B. Anthon3', but a real lawyer, politican and stateswoman. Lena, on the last and final test she took under Hendy received 3 tens and 2 nines and this so inspired her in the study of philosophy that she immediately set to work to solve all the new problems in philosophy. One of these she will successfully accomplish, that is mental communication. She will put her arguments so plainly before the people that they will be able to communicate mentally at a distance of nearly a hundred miles. Maud will be the, "Hello girl." and will manage the Telephone Department. Her great invention will be an electrical telephone that will enable people in America to hear distinctly what is going on in London, Paris, Berlin and other great cities. Rachael Myers will bs head of the Millinery Department. She will abolish many object- ional styles and will inaugrate many reforms in dress. She will get the people to walk with the kangaroo dip. Karl Campbell will so simplify English grammar that there will be no need for studying along that line and he will spend his time making constructive drawings. Mamie Lang who was always at the head of her class in mathematics will become the professor in mathematics in the greatest college of the world which will be called the "Twentieth Century College." All the matha- matical questions of the day will be referred to her, and she will solve them. Her book, which will be the most wonderful ever written will be entitled the "Twentieth Century Ideal of Geometry." Kate will be a famous musican of both the voice and all the musical instruments. Margaret will be a bachelor girl living in New York, and her time and money will be spent in hunting for some new dish to satisfy her appetite which will never be appeased. She will also be a candy fiend, fudge being her favorite kind, of which she will always have a supply. Repining courage yields no foot to foe- Spenser.
